“Small” Business Success – Right Here in the USA

What constitutes a business being considered “small?” Sure, the Small Business Administration (SBA) has their size standards and many regulations that you can read about here, but many companies, like us here at Charles Richter, produce big results!

Supporting Small Businesses

The SBA, since introducing Small Business Week in 1963, has recognized, honored and educated small businesses for over 50 years. This includes award ceremonies, learning workshops and more throughout the country. National Small Business Week 2016 takes place May 1-7. The SBA also provides grants and helps small businesses procure loans to start or grow. Learn more here

Made in the USA

Charles Richter has thrived for over 100 years; all right here in the United States. Our Wallkill warehouse (downstate New York) is where the magic happens.

Charles Richter

Our 50,000 square foot location houses hundreds of different presses to meet our customers’ specifications for a variety of products. We maintain thousands of dies to ensure you get the exact metal stamping you need for any application.

Charles Richter has developed long-lasting relationships and partnerships with excellent companies throughout the country and around the world. As the industries we partner with (manufacturing, material handling, automotive, lighting, etc.) continue to evolve and search for advancements, Charles Richter is thrilled to join them on their respective journeys. This country has given us so much success – why change now?

Industry Trends

Speaking of those industries, let’s take a look at the metal stamping industry as a whole. Nevertheless, it still reverts to our partnering industries. Metal stamping – for the most part – is a B2B industry that produces specific products for others to incorporate into their products. Hence, why our industry relies heavily on others.

HVACNo matter the industry, it’s no secret that companies try to be as efficient as possible. A vast majority of businesses are also trying to cut down on energy costs and their respective carbon footprints. The automotive industry is shifting towards producing higher mileage efficiencies. The lighting industry must find ways to conserve energy while still providing quality lights. HVAC and other appliances are addressing the same issue. So how does all of this effect Charles Richter or the metal stamping industry?

Easy: these industries are looking for new products, processes and manufacturing ideas to become more efficient. Metal stamping companies must do the same to stay relevant.
